Steps

1
Done

Start by preparing all the necessary ingredients. Measure the sweetened condensed milk, pour it into a bowl, and set it aside.

2
Done

In a large saucepan, place the butter and heat it over low heat until it melts.
Once the butter is melted, add the cocoa powder and stir quickly and vigorously to combine it with the butter and form a smooth paste.

3
Done

Reduce the heat to a minimum and add the sweetened condensed milk to the mixture with cocoa and butter. Stir constantly to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom of the saucepan.

4
Done

Cook the mixture over low heat, continuing to stir until it starts to pull away from the sides of the saucepan and becomes denser and more compact. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes.

5
Done

Once the mixture is ready, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
When the mixture is cool enough, grease your hands with a little butter or oil to prevent the dough from sticking, and shape small balls about the size of a walnut.

6
Done

Optionally, you can roll the balls in chocolate sprinkles, cocoa powder, or chopped nuts to add texture and flavor.
