Directions
There is nothing complicated about this recipe. However, the important thing is, to season the minced meat properly. To accomplish that we’re going to add a few vegetables, which we will put through the grater. So, we’ll grate red and green peppers, onion and carrot. We decided to grate the vegetables, so they will be cooked well enough and not stay raw.
For the cohesion of the mixture between minced meat and vegetables let’s add 1 egg and a bit of yellow cheese or mozzarella.
If you’re using mozzarella you have to cut it up into small pieces. Don’t grate it in the grater because it is going to melt anyway, whilst the meat balls are being fried.
Add spices as you wish. We recommend cumin and savory, as they are ideal for seasoning the minced meat.
